The platform offers in-depth reviews, interviews with industry leaders, news on the latest watch releases, and thought-provoking editorials. Through its website, YouTube channel, and social media presence, Time+Tide provides a well-rounded perspective on the craftsmanship, history, and cultural significance of watches.
In addition to its digital presence, Time+Tide stands out by fostering a strong community around watch appreciation through its Watch Discovery Studios. This alternative watch retail concept allows Time+Tide to host experiential events and launch limited and studio-edition collaborations with watchmakers big and small. Since opening the first Studio in 2023, Time+Tide has carved out a niche in the crowded luxury watch media market, making it not only a source of information but also a bricks and mortar hub for watch lovers around the world.
The Alliance of British Watch and Clockmakers was founded in November 2020 by Roger Smith OBE, Mike France, and Alistair Audsley (CEO). As the official trade body for the watch and clock-making sector in the British Isles, including the Republic of Ireland, we proudly represent 101 British brands, and our primary focus remains on raising awareness of British watch and clock making to collectors and enthusiasts worldwide.
Our diverse membership reflects the breadth of the industry, encompassing everything from exclusive mechanical timepieces to design-led affordable watches. What unites our trade members is a shared enthusiasm for the future of British horology and a commitment to collaboration.
Our inaugural trade fair, British Watchmakers’ Day, held in Westminster, London, gathered around 1,300 watch collectors, enthusiasts, and people working in the sector in March 2024, and will be held annually to serve as a platform for our Trade members to sell and promote their timepieces.
The British Watchmakers Weekender offers a truly unique and intimate experience. Unlike larger events held in hotels or convention halls, this gathering takes place in a dedicated Watch Discovery Studio, a space specifically designed for the hands-on appreciation of watches.
With limited tickets and select British watch brands, this event is crafted to give you a personal and exclusive connection with the world of horology. Each time slot is tailored to allow for meaningful interactions, offering guests the chance to engage with the watches and their creators up close, creating a one-of-a-kind experience.
Yes, absolutely! All the brands present at the event will be able to facilitate transactions for their rare and unique timepieces. This is a fantastic opportunity to take home something truly special.
Unfortunately, no. Each time slot is carefully allocated to ensure every guest enjoys a personal and intimate experience with the brands. We kindly ask that you adhere to your designated time slot to help us provide the best experience for all attendees. Thank you for your understanding.
Only those with a valid ticket will be able to attend the event. We kindly ask that anyone joining you ensures they have a ticket, as entry cannot be granted without one. We appreciate your cooperation in making this a smooth and enjoyable experience for everyone.
Our event is in high demand, and tickets are limited. Be sure to secure your spot today and immerse yourself in the best of British watchmaking.
